Fitting In

I was once somebody who was trying fit in,

But I could not understand why I was feeling left out,
I was once somebody who tried to change my ways,
But I could not understand why I kept trying for days,
I was once somebody who tried out way too much costumes,
But I could not understand why it was all too much to consume,
I was once somebody who tried changing my identity,
But I could not understand why I felt too much intensity,
I was once somebody who felt they was always being rejected,
But now I came to understand that I will always be accepted,
If man could never accept me the way I am,
Then God is the one that will always accept me,
